How to connect to Wi-Fi?

First connection

  1. Connect to the Wi-Fi network called MiNET and enter the password minet123
  2. You will then be redirected in your web browser to the member portal
  3. Follow the instructions

If the redirect doesn’t work

  1. Temporarily connect to the internet using a mobile hotspot
  2. Go to the member portal and add your MAC address (need help finding your MAC addresses?)

Final checks

  1. Check that in your settings you have disabled random MAC address and private MAC address
  2. When you added your MAC address, a password was generated. Use this password to connect to the Wi-Fi (it only works for this device)
  3. If you haven’t configured your Wi-Fi, or if your Wi-Fi isn’t using the correct security type, this won’t work… see here for Linux or here for Windows
