How to connect via ethernet for the first time? (Windows or Linux)

Portal

1. Plug in via ethernet. Note that some rooms have two ethernet ports in the wall, only one of them works (test both)
2. On your web browser you will be redirected to the member portal
3. Follow the instructions
4. need help finding your MAC addresses?

If the redirect doesn’t work

1. Temporarily connect to the internet using a mobile hotspot
2. Go to the member portal and add your MAC address (need help finding your MAC addresses?)

Final checks

1. Check that in your settings you have disabled random MAC address and private MAC address
2. Now that you’ve added your MAC address, unplug and replug your computer to activate the ethernet connection
